Barry's Diaries – 26

Barry pushed himself to the limit.  For the first he was seriously physically active, building strength, muscle, looking good.

He wasn’t that great but just above average, which was good enough.  He would keep going, getting better.

He was friendly enough with his ‘team mates’ speaking in a soft voice.

Some were nerds as he once was, some were big slobs as those who had pushed him around at his last school.  Some were okay guys.

Barry focused on the sport, keeping himself a bit private.

When term began, Barry would try to get on the teams at school to give him a life.  If asked if he played for his town he’d say it was real small so wasn’t much challenge.

He liked the way that sounded.

What do you think?
