I’m posting two different versions of the same photo because I couln’t decide which one I preferred. Feel free to let me know which one you liked the best.
The house where the decorations were is located at 1736 West Pratt Avenue, Chicago, Illinois (West Ridge). The owner of the house had a very elaborate display. I’ve posted some photos of other parts of his decorations. I had a chance to talk with him for a few minutes and he was ecstatic that a stranger was taking photos of his work.
The original photo was taken with a Nikon Coolpix P7700 camera. Although it was starting to get a little dark, no tripod was necessary.
The first treatment is more complimentary to the subject matter
I liked them both but the second is my favorite.
