It’s premature, isn’t it?
Yes, we all know that Christmas is the joyous season of the year. But the big question is: when does it should start?
For me it is untimely to have it in September. I don’t what is your opinion on this issue. In our place, you can hear Christmas songs over the air lanes played by various radio stations, AM and FM band.
This is what my discussion before, Christmas in September? But by tradition especially Christians celebrate Christmas in December. I remember my late mother before. She prepared a branch or a bush of a plant, cut off its leaves and what remained is a skeleton of that plant. Then she wrapped it with Japanese paper color green or white. That improvised Christmas tree was all decorated with Christmas balls, miniature reindeers, santas, canes, among others.
Well, Christmas in September is for commercial business establishments, malls, and supermarkets. Christmas is being commercialized. That is what is in my mind. What do you think?
Well done! Nice post!
Thanks for the praise. I am glad to hear it.
The Christmas holiday is celebrated in every month that ends in “…ber” in the Philippines. Most of the population are deeply religious Catholics and they start the celebration very early.
No wonder why.
But my point is when is the proper month to start celebrating Christmas?
Well in the US, I think the day after Thanksgiving is the perfect time to start getting in the Christmas spirit!
Thanks for the info.
In the Philippines, Christmas spirit starts in the “ber” months.
