Eventhough this book was published a while ago, I keep going back to it. I rarely read books more than once, well except for The Bible, and this book about self help is very useful.
If you are feeling depressed, for any reason, you can read this book and find out about the fallacies of different kinds of thoughts. Dr Burns gives concrete action steps that anyone can do to overcome these feelings. If by the time you still feel depressed, then you can go to a psychologist and get personal help. but I feel that after reading this book every now and then, I can overcome my problems by myself.
Isn’t that what real therapy is anyway? Self Change?
