8 Ways to a Healthy and Happy Liver

The liver can secrete too much cholesterol that is carried with bile to the gallbladder. The cholesterol then forms solid particles and accumulates resulting in the formation of gallstones. 6. Avoid Viral Epatitis:

Hepatitis A, B, C, and E can cause serious liver damage hence, it is essential to get vaccinated. On the other hand, unprotected sex or sex with multiple partners can increase your risk of hepatitis C and it can get much worse as there is no vaccination available for hepatitis C and E.

7. Watch Out for Certain Medicines:

Some cholesterol medications occasionally have side effects that can cause liver problems. Moreover, acetaminophen (Tylenol), a painkiller, can hurt your liver if you are taking it at high levels. Acetaminophen is found in hundreds of drugs like prescription pain medicines and cold medicines, so you might be taking it more than you realize.

Drinking coffee can lower your risk of getting liver disease and no one knows how. You can consult your doctor about what amount of coffee is right for you as drinking too much can have a negative impact on your health due to the presence of caffeine.
