Venetian Hotel, Las Vegas

No, this photography wasn’t taken in Venice, Italy, although I have been to Venice in the summer of 1986. This photography is actual at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. I think the Venetian Hotel is my favorite hotel in Las Vegas. It looks like a mini version, as well as cleaner version, of Venice, Italy. I especially liked the clouds on the ceiling of the hotel, which tends to dim and get darker during the night in order to make the inside of the hotel look like nighttime in Venice. The gondola rides are cute but expensive, and they even have a man painted in all white and posing like a statue. Every couple of minutes, he would change his pose. He even has a little cup by him to collect donations from people walking by.
