TATTERS of time melt to Tales in a SONG

TATTERS of time

make a  crazy rhyme

and MELT

before long

INTO THE TALES of a SONG

MUSIC began

in the DANCE of MAN

& SKIES

picked up

the CRIES

in the fading sun

where much MUSIC DIES

DIES down

to RISE

to pick up the beat

rushing the SKIES

DON’T let your heaven

melt down to a Bell

SING with a blessing

RING Earth a bell Well

GOD hears ur thanks

rewards 10 times as WELL.

NOT NOW

SAID the Raven

& no more

NEVER MORE

these small man things

get a second chance

to GET UP

from the FLOOR

Source

MAN is a SONG

and a dance so strong

that even the stars

line up

to guide us ALONG.

and the DRUMS roll

a beat for the SOUL

IF TIME can SIGH

& LOOK into my MIND

IT sees the wind slip BY

the leaf TREMBLES

EARTH assembles

MASSES NEARBY

ONLY the kind & MEEK

CAN TRY

to pull the music

from the SKY

AND THE POET

CRIES

HEAR the horns in the SKIES

CRAZY TIME IS GONE

and MAN STANDS ALONE

a MESSAGE in music

with more GOOD beginnings

than GOOD BYES

In the early wild

the drum led man

like a stumbling child

flutes and horns

and pipes in hand

dancing around

AND THE STRINGS

MELT A TUNE

to a FIRE in the SAND

Tatters of Time

turn to TALES

that melt to a Song

What do you think?

Written by Johndavisnearby

LET loose the Night
to play its strings in my Heart
the Music of the Ages
has a Beat from the Start
A Tit a Tat
and the Tap of a Shoe
Even the Muses listen to YOU
A Lute a Flute
Cello and violin Too
O Night of the Soft Winds
the children of Earth
Listen to YOU
