This was my first time plein air painting. It was a lot of fun and a great way to get out and enjoy nature.
I was painting just outside of Waterton Lakes National Park in Alberta, Canada.
I will be creating a follow-up video this week where I talk about my experience in more depth. I’ll talk about what I took and didn’t take, if there is anything I would do different, what I would do the same, etc.
If you have done plein air, what did you like about it? What locations are your favorite to set up?

It seems to be an idyllic area where to paint. Cannot wait to see the finished product or rather painting. Keep up the great artwork.
It definitely is! I’ll be sure to post more when I have the opportunity!
