Lion of Jerusalem

A about  ten years ago there was a contest for artists to paint plaster statues of a lion, which is the symbol of the city. The statues were the auctioned off to businesses to raise money for charity.  If you look carefully as you walk around  the city you can still find some. They have been weathered, but are still beautiful.  This one is on Yaffo street.
