JACK BE NIMBLE OVER VALLEY AND HILL

Jack be nimble

OVER VALLEY AND HILL

forgetting how

it seems to STAND STILL
He was so Quick

He lassoed a fly

before one flame

could Lick

& ran a mile

& back

between a clock’s Tick

Jack would run

to the Town Tower

and back

carrying a Whistle

and catch the Sound

in his magic

back Pack

He met a lovely

Maiden at the village Square

on a quick Day

and ran to the brook

and picked a rose

and back

before a Word

she could Say

As the weeks

flew by

Jack was never shy

One day he

caught a Moonbeam

and carried it

to her Eye
And now the legend

must Grow

the world waits

to Know

Will Jack stay Still

and marry the lady

or is he forever

running and chasing

the next valley

and HILL
