Colors adrift with perfume

swaying in winds that carry ferns along

a strong billow comes from oaks and poplars

on a verdant slope as the pink stands apart

in that distinctive microcosm

a lot of them in fact

farmed healthy and good

their faces always happy

and so totally bloomed

yet adorned on lapels of so many sad!
