I was happily creating these cute flower fairies and water pixies using photos of people’s children and grandchildren, when my sister said her grandson wanted a dinosaur. Getting a photo of a dinosaur is a little harder than getting a photo of a deep sea turtle or a backyard daisy. I started to tell her no way, but then I remembered I’m an artist and I do love a challenge. I figured if nothing else I could cut a paste some elephant legs with lizard bodies and snapping turtle heads. I found it wasn’t going to be that hard as there are lots of very nice dinosaur replica statues and models around. So I created my first Dinosaur manipulation. I had fun with the tattoo on his head. I wonder if I should have painted his toenails too. Or maybe that would be going too far.
What do you think?
