Digital Artist

As near as I can figure a digital artist is someone who photoshops artwork.  I was wondering about when I came across one piece of work that I found interesting.  I stumbled across an artist named Aditya Aryanto. He is from Indonesia and he has this to say about some of his artwork. 

“Animals are a part of our life and we must see them every day. In this project, I would try to visualize shapes for the animals. I tried changing their bodies and that was quite complicated. Imagination is always needed to make a new animal’s form. This time, I am trying to make them different; to be round. I was curious about the response, so I tried to upload them on Instagram, and the result was beyond my expectations. Finally, I made some categories, and one of them is Aniball.”

I think it might be fun to take a look at some of his work.

The cat is a little creepy. He or she looks kind of cramped!

I wonder if the pieces are gathering to create the illusion of leaving to make it disappear.

It’s just really different. I can’t quite figure out if I like it or not. I have to say that I keep coming back to the work and reading more and more about the artist who does the work.  I can’t say that I am a solid fan, and still I find it very interesting.
