Come to the Table
of Mind
Bard spins the rhythm
with poetry & wine
a drum sympathetic
soft music empathetic
tata tat tat
step in and out
tap to unwind
the future steps back
in and out
Time
Left up right back
a dance to Dine
Even a rainbow
signs us
a promise to remind
Mankind

a nearby john

only can change
things one at a time
We put in the Rhythm
and Rhyme
If you see the Turning
of the future ahead
then tell me
of yell at me
Give me a better world
while we still look to be led
O sing a song
of drums and violins
and music that Said
Dance me to Future
There is learning and Joy
and surprises Ahead
Almost as if speaking of a child, but at the same time to that same child. Interesting play of words!
