Cause of Tears

Dew drops drop

no sound

muted environs

her eyes dart

with a tear or two

know not

what was behind

a small platter

of bone china

chipped

at edges

with a golden rim

coming from

Ching dynasty

and an artifact

stood listlessly by

sliced tomatoes

and wedges of lemon

with a small heap

of salt and red chilly powder

was laid in hills

do not know

what was it all about

then she grabbed a

lemon wedge

dipped it in salt

then made it red

and grabbed

a tomato slice

and ate the slice

with the red salted juice

from the wedge

and three tears

dropped after that

now I knew

why tears fell down

sometimes tears

fall not due to emotions

but something

clearly chemical!

That is the moral

of the story
