While visiting historic Fort Ticonderoga on Lake Champlain in upstate NY there were many original and restored buildings. In these buildings were Revolutionary War and after artifacts such as long rifles, tools, pistols, clothes and other wonderful things. Here is a closeup of one of the bronze canon ends with its cast end and decoration:
They also make a damn fine pencil, if I do say so myself…
I think this is a place that I would love to visit. Sounds interesting to me.
