Main Congressional Chamber at the Illinois Old State Capitol

In this old 1838 Illinois State Capital Building in Springfield they restored the entire building as it had been converted into a parking garage. This massive room is the main Congressional Chamber which has an observer deck too.  You feel like the senators and representatives have just stepped out on a break and will be back any minute.  They moved in 1870 or so to the newer and much larger New State Capitol Building a few blocks away.
