Moving closer to the building, I took some closeups of the Clocktower as we walked downtown Peterborough, Canada to see the architectural sights. Here were both very old buildings and very new. I liked this brick building with its tall tower that was right down the Main street. This building was almost church like with its tall spire, but there were storefronts all around it. The top of the tower had huge clock faces on all four sides.
Wonderful capture , thank you for sharing
Being Canadian born and raised, I am very proud and happy you posted this majestic building. I have to admit though that I have never visited Peterborough. You really should come here and visit Ottawa to see the Parliament building or the old Quebec section with its cobblestone streets and old buildings some of them dating from 1600’s and above (all of them restored of course). Anyway again a big thank you for this beautiful post.
I recently visited your lovely Montreal and now plan on seeing Quebec City and Ottawa.
Ghostwriter, Thanks so much
Great shot of an interesting building.
Wow, great photo! I like clock towers, especially the old ones.
Howard Faxon, thanks a lot. I wish the photo had not been so degraded when uploading.
