Two Cats Observing the World from an Apartment Window (2009-06-14 13-34-45_01)
The photo was taken in Chicago, Illinois.
A Panasoncic DMC-FZ50 camera was used to take the photo. Editing was done with Luminar 3.1. I started with two copies of the Accent AI filter, one pushed all the way to the maximum and the second almost all the way. Next I added the Tone filter to lower the SmartTone, the Details Enhancer and a Vignette.

My cat loves to sit on top of the printer and look out the window at what is going on around her.
I love the photograph of the beautiful cats thank you for sharing.
I don’t really understand all that photography technology talk but they are beautiful cats and a beautiful photo thank you for sharing.
Thanks, Stacie. The tech stuff is basically what I did in my editing software. It won’t make much sense to anyone who doesn’t use the same program.

Thanks. Yeah, I noticed the plethora of cats after I posted mine.
An incredibly successful photo. Editing is successful. I like.
Thank you very much. I appreciate it.
They are so cute and so forlorn looking because they cannot go out. The orange tabby cat looks a bit like my Runty Dumpty except that Runt is an indoor/outdoor cat so he has an advantage over these two. I do not understand anything about what you did with the camera or/and the editing but the finished product is simply beautiful.
Thanks, HistoryGal. I use a couple of different editing programs. For this one I used a program called Luminar. It consists of a bunch of filters you apply to the photo. That part is just the filters I used on this photo.
Awe, how cute. Love the reflection of the trees and blue sky on the black and white one.
That’s my favorite part of the photo and the funny thing is that I didn’t see it until the editing brought it out. It’s very faint in the RAW file.
Glad you caught it then. It turned out great!!
How cool to see so many cat photos here today! I love this one as well Gary. The markings are so cool on both of them. Nice effects.
Thanks, Carol. It was an old photo that I had never gotten around to doing anything with.
