Black Panther is an acrylic painting on an 18×24 inch stretched canvas. It was inspired simply because of my last painting of a Siberian Tiger. I wanted to do another big cat and I’ve always thought panthers were pretty cool too!
I love painting the expression through the eyes. I like to save the eyes almost to the end because then it really brings the whole thing to life! The yellow eyes in this one really make them stand out with the green, black, and gray around it.
