Dalmatian pelican (Pelecanus crispus).
Greece, Kerkini Lake, 23.02.2019.
With a group of bird lovers – photographers and birdwatchers, we made a one-day visit to this protected area.
The weather was not very kind to us!
There was an unpleasant northern wind, but he did not interfere with our good mood 🙂
We were able to make good shots during feeding of the pelicans and into the lake.
A colleague joked: “Do not we, and pelicans hunt us to photograph them!”
Now we will leave them in peace – they start to breed!
In autumn again we will go to see the new generation!
What an amazing capture!
