Today we were talking about Doc Andersen’s Wanders and family photos. My husband and I really enjoy them. It really doesn’t matter that we don’t know the people or places. It’s the feeling of family that both of us miss. We have very few pictures of our families. It must not have been a priority. We can choose to be sad or we can choose to enjoy his and talk about times it reminds us of. I don’t know if he realizes that we bond over his family photos.
I never met my husbands parents. I lived with his sister, who we all agree was the meanest woman on the planet and best Grandmother to her grandchildren. I was able to meet one of his brothers and one of his nephews. I feel blessed for that. So I want Doc Andersen to know what he didn’t know, those pictures are helping us to celebrate our families. It is helping my husband who can often remember old times, but not what happened 2 minutes again. We have something to talk about for a few minutes that is logical. It means the world to me.
Now you know what you didn’t know.
Thank you for telling me something I don’t know. In addition, you are right that seeing family photos, including those of others like Doc, often provokes certain memories or talks.

You’ve made a great impact in his happiness and that means the world to us. It is also a good lesson that sometimes just being who we are and doing what do is AMAZING.
Yesterday is the past. Tomorrow isn’t promised. Today is the presents open it!
Thank you again. I am honored and I agree!!!
