This is the place where Saint James the Great was buried. This was news to me. I didn’t know that people were actually buried in the floor of these cathedrals.
The Gothic and Baroque details were additions to the building at a later time.

The church does have a special architecture and is very grand.

It looks slightly more Baroque simply by its sheer height but still very beautful.
