The crows are the smartest birds in the world. Have you ever seen how a crow manages to break nuts? I have seen that today! The ingenious bird catches nuts with the beak then she flying high enough over the street and drop nuts . Hard to believe, isn’t it?
Besides being very smart, the crows are very loyal. Specialists say that it is mating with a single partner all the life. They search for another partner only if the first one was killed or captured.
We should learn from them!?

I actually had no clue that crows were smart birds, but I will look more into them now.
Crows are the smartest creatures on the planet after humans, ranking second with chimpanzees and dolphins!
That is so cool to know
I concur with Carol because I did not know that they even ate nuts. Also I did not know that they mated for life. Canadian geese also mate for life (if I remember well) which I find impressive just by itself for the bird community. I am sure there are other types of birds who mate for life. Maybe I will look it up. Thank you for introducing Virily to this unusual aspect of the crow.
As far as I know, (I hope I’m not wrong), swan, penguin, dove also mate for life
Wow that is impressive. I did not know that is how they eat nuts. Smart birds for sure.
They are smart birds, but they are very naughty and are a real problem in my city. Their number is steadily increasing.
