I have been looking through my photos. It is often what I call a walk down memory lane. A photo can take you back to the very moment you were when it was taken. No matter how long ago it was taken. I have many photos of my Dad. Some of our family. I will keep those in my library of photos. But I did want to share this camellia bloom again from my Dad’s yard. This was taken back in December. I had to go and get what I wanted from his home for the last time. These blooms are so beautiful and they bloom in the winter.
The sunlight was perfect on these blooms. I really felt his presence, as I do today. One year has passed already. Seems like yesterday but it also seems like forever since I talked to him.
Another photo taken that brings a smile. I gave this to my Dad many years ago. I noticed he had it up on his fireplace mantle, he could see it while watching television, as he did every day.
I know my Dad is trying to leave me with a smile. And he manages to do that every day, even through the tears. Treasure those you love. Enjoy each moment.

The first picture is stunning ….
That was in my Dad’s yard, my final visit. Very special, thank you.
Sometimes it’s really a little good to scratch the memories
I have to agree with you my friend.
Thank you, dear friend….
I often look go down memory lane. I love the picture of the flower, it’s so pretty.
Thank you, the bloom was bittersweet. He always bragged on his winter blooms. I still feel his presence wen I look at the photo. Our love will live on, I know that.
Memory lane is a favorite place of mine to visit. I go there often.
