I haven’t blogged on Virily for a couple of months. I haven’t been super busy, just not really in the mood to write. I’ve tried to quit smoking several times, to no avail. I will try again in a couple of days. I’ve had some ups and downs (literally) with my mental health issues. Mostly I’ve been pretty good though. Currently, I am hypomanic with insomnia. It sucks in the middle of the night, there is no one to talk to. So I will write instead.
I am impatiently waiting for 5 AM so I can make coffee. Like I need it, really! But this is my normal insomnia routine, and I like routines. And coffee. Then I will nap for a couple of hours around 9.
I will probably be writing all night, and also doing forums. Mostly religious forums. Then I can exercise after my nap. My boyfriend bought me a treadmill, and I dusted off the dumbells. I plan on getting fit enough to join a tae kwon do class. I am too unfit, I only managed 20 minutes on the treadmill today. My doctor will be happy I actually got on the thing.
Hopefully I will stick to writing this time. I really do enjoy it.

Glad you actually got on the thing. Movement stimulates the happiness cells in our brains. This is why they say not to exercise right before bedtime as we might be too happy to sleep. I have found writing to be a wonderful substitute for talking to people in the middle of the night, or anytime at all. I also think it is good exercise (both mental and physical) and keeps my typing speed from going south.
Always good to see you writing again. Keep working, you will get there, step by step. 🙂
