Continue on the streets of Sofia …
What I’m going to show you is the remains of Alexander Stamboliiski’s house or what’s left of it
Stamboliiski lived and worked in this building between 1921 and 1923 as acting prime minister. Later it is designed museum, and in 1954 was the extensive and showroom.
On the ground floor was the archive room where Stamboliiski’s library was kept.
On the first floor there was the reception room, where the Council of Ministers and the leadership of the Agrarian Union of the Agrarian Union met in extraordinary cases.
The working room of the Prime Minister was located on the second floor.
Today’s wretched state of the building does not need comment and wakes only regret.
So sad to see this beautiful building in such dis repair 🙁
I try to present the things I see them…
Interesting I have never been to this place and sad to see such a beautiful building neglected.
Unfortunately, so happened with many of the old buildings : (
