The River Goddess

This is the result of doodling. Trying to make out something with a line. The head became apparent first and the figure was completed with the ribbon like form which  sprang from the hand. In that instant a river seems to be an apparent connection with the form.  The figure seems more like an archaic symbolism of a goddess.  So the doodling became  the River Goddess.     This is a watercolor on paper.
