My Mom wanted her Christmas Tree to be 12 feet tall and full. My Dad wanted my Mom to be happy.
So we would got up to the mountain and cut down three trees. If often took three trips to get them dragged out and home. Dad would drill and wire in branches and work at it for hours, until Mom deemed the shape and bushiness perfect.
A great Christmas is a lot of work and may have many traditions.
Today I celebrate Christmas by sending my father a thank you card for all those perfect trees.
