Love ItLove It

It is 2018 in California!

This snapshot was take exactly two years ago, on the same Dick Clark countdown to the New Year show, which is on ABC, live from Times Square, NYC.

  • Dressed in fleece pajamas, robe, and slippers, I sat at my computer, watching American Werewolf in London on the indie channel while browsing on the internet, and I was getting bored of it, although I liked this movie in the 80s when I first watched it in the theater. I decided to change the channel to the regular TV channels to watch the New Year’s countdown. At 9 pm, I went to ABC channel, and I noticed it is already 2018 in NYC. Jenny McCarthy looks scary that I didn’t recognize her because she looked more like a young Joan Rivers. Her face looked like she had a lot of Botox.  They mention that in Netherlands, fireworks go off in order to rid all the negative vibes from 2017 so that there will be a fresh new positive start in 2018. I go to the snow-covered streets of small town Yoworld, and I hang out with loiters and drifters at the front side of Alton Towers.
  • At 7 pm, I opened a new bottle of Secco Pompelini , a grapefruit flavored wine specialty from Germany, but sold at Trader Joes. It is pink and sparkly, and it tastes fruity that I forgot I was drinking liquor. I drank two flutes by 11 pm while watching Dick Clarke’s New Year’s Eve Countdown to 2018. It is 11:11 pm, and the news displayed fireworks going off worldwide at midnight. The New Year temperature will be around 73 degrees Fahrenheit in the daytime, while it will cool down to the 50s during the nighttime.
  • By 11:30 pm, I noticed a lot of commercials and 2018’s TV lineup of shows. March 4th is Oscar night, and a new episode of American Idol will also start in March. The judges will be Lionel Richie, Katy Perry, and a country singer. Meanwhile, the host of the countdown to 2018 in Times Square was Ryan Seacrest, and Mariah Carey showed up with her twins. She sang a song or two.

The ball dropped at midnight, it turned 2018, and I kissed Gumby, who will be 18 on January 6th. I drank another flute of Secco Grapefruit wine specialty drink. The TV displayed fireworks going off all over the world, in which all were huge and colorful.

The music party will continue until 2 am. But I am not sure how long I will stay up until I feel tired.
