Normally, we don’t have a great deal of control over what is given to us as a Christmas gift. Many people are still quite thankful for every gift they receive. A lot of people also prefer giving gifts to receiving them. Be this as it may, most of us have gifts that we most enjoy receiving. That doesn’t mean that we don’t appreciate the other gifts that we receive, but there is usually a top choice that each of us has. This goes for birthday gifts as well.

Now that I am grown….I usually just get money. It’s helpful, so I can’t complain.
That is true, it can be very useful and can be used in whatever way it is needed, though it is somewhat impersonal.
Yes I agree it is impersonal…. But that’s how my family does gifts.
LOL…well, whatever works. At least it does have a positive since the money can be used where it is needed.
I prefer to give gifts myself. I enjoy watching peoples’ faces as they open what you give them. For me, this is a true gift, the gift of giving joy to someone you love and care about.
I enjoy that, too. It is one reason we always open one gift at a time, though it usually takes a couple of hours. A big part of the pleasure is in seeing how people react to the gift.
I like all kinds, jewelry is always nice.
I’ve known several women who loved jewelry.
Electronics/technology!! or super cute stuffs (even if i won’t use them!!)
