This photo was all thanks to a bright idea to go rowing just before sunset on the Vaal river. To my surprise it was quite warm for that time of the year. Most of the river looks like this full or reeds and gorgeous sunsets and lots of different types of bird life. As you can see in the reeds the wind has picked up a bit but the birds still love it. This photo was taken on land. I spent just over 20 minutes waiting for the sun to be at the perfect angle.
