This photo was all thanks to a bright idea to go rowing just before sunset on the Vaal river. To my surprise it was quite warm for that time of the year. Most of the river looks like this full or reeds and gorgeous sunsets and lots of different types of bird life. As you can see in the reeds the wind has picked up a bit but the birds still love it. The wind made the light reflect on the water in a amazing pattern.
