As Ethan walked away he thought of what Corrie said. She said it once, a year ago.
If there was any kind of lesson in the story, it is that Ethan had always listened to Corrie, save in this case.
Corrie was his big sister; sort of.
His mother had married her father. The marriage didn’t last long. The connection between Corrie and Ethan did.
Corrie had been more of a mother/father to Ethan than anyone. She was only five years older, but wise and calm and perceptive. Maybe she was psychic.
She always gave Ethan her attention and the best advice, and he always took it.
Save when it came to Shauna.
can I ask you a huge favor, can you include a link to the last one.
I missed the first part of this – love what I read though!
this is chapter 1….just began this story
Awesome thought I had missed a chapter.
This is the first and I just posted the 2nd chap
Giving good advice is a good thing we could all benefit from.
Listening is the problem. I come from another planet, because I listen. I listen to the words, I listen between the words. People are shocked when I remember what they said.
