I spoke with Brad about Daniel’s marriage. What it would mean to us if we did not have a place to send Gabi. We considered options.
On Friday evening I got a call from Daniel. He told me Gabi had shown up on his door step. He asked me if anything had happened.
I hadn’t known Gabi had gone.
In one part of me I wanted to say, ‘Great, keep her!’ but I knew that was not going to work so rephrased; “Okay, keep her tonight and we’ll come over tomorrow afternoon.”
Then I spoke to Brad.
We discussed it and he volunteered to come with me. He rang his sister to drop by tomorrow and baby sit our new born.
Then we relaxed, went to bed, hoping that somehow things would work out. That somehow, Daniel’s new wife and Gabi would become besties.
I base my fiction stories and events and people I know and just mask a bit
I collect all his up and read it on one setting. I quite enjoy it that way.
that would be a good way so you can get the story at one sitting
i lvoe this (is this a work of fiction 🙂 just kidding!) the story continues to evolve!
It is fiction. I was reflecting on someone else’s child’s behaviour
i was teasing you based on the message you had sent me!
i like this story overall!
I know you are aware I write fiction… but I’m sure the others don’t
i am sure they aren’t we need that category!
I don’t put fiction here, but people often ask me if it is. I guess they call come from more normal familes.
