I thought that the hula hoop was only for the kids in the olden times. It was a surprise to see a young girl in our neighborhood who was so good with the hula hoop. I was mesmerized so I went home to get my camera.
The hula hoop was very popular when I was a kid. Unfortunately I do not have a hula body that I couldn’t make the hoop go around my waist. But this girl in the picture is so good that she can play with the hula hoop while eating something.

We always lived in apartments so I never had a hula hoop but I tried out friends hula hoops but could never get the hang of the hoop
