A saree is no doubt an elegant attire but wearing it anywhere and everywhere needs thinking. It is ok when one attends a function and in fact it is the ideal attire but what about wearing it when one has to do physical work.
Indian women go through that hassle as for most it is a custom and they cannot think of wearing anything else Just think of doing various household chores wearing a saree!!!
I only wear a saree for occasions.

We have to wear a petticoat inside and one end of the saree is tucked in there (lol)
Indian clothes are so beautiful! Our traditional outfits are mostly used by folk dancers and singers.
I did not know you personally never wear traditional clothes.
Beautiful dress. I had business partners from India at work. Many times they came dressed in traditional clothes.
Did you not get tempted to ask them how a saree is worn?!
Unfortunately, I didn’t think about it. The dresses fascinated me too much.
