It is the tail end of summer and the rainy season is already knocking on the door. That means the harvest season of mangoes is raging. There are many mango trees in our village and I enjoy seeing all the trees with fruits. From time to time, I see people climbing the trees or using a pole to pick the fruits. It’s a nice feeling that everywhere here are mangoes.
Our own mango tree is also nearing the end of the harvesting. In the picture is the 11th harvest that we had made from our tree. We make the mangoes into pickles and give it to those who requested. The pickled mango is one of the favorites here.

I have never had a mango. I will have to buy one and try it.
Unfortunately, our mango tree was battered by the typhoon Ursula last December, it produced only about five fruits. Probably next year would be better.
