Our cashew tree

The climate change is upon us that even the plants and trees go crazy with their fruiting season. Our mango tree started to fruit early but now the big fruits are falling with the premature maturity. Even the star fruit have fruits earlier this year although the fruits look normal with the sweet taste. The custard apple have fruits last month which is very early for the usual July fruiting.

But the cashew tree seems to be punctual and regular with the fruiting. The harvest is always in the month of May so it should be fruiting now. There were flowers last month and today I espied one fruit that appeared. If everything goes well, the other fruits will appear in the following days. And the May harvest will be a reality.
