Triglycerides contribute to the high or low of cholesterol and to keep it in control doctors recommend Omega 3 fish oil.
The best way is to eat fish that contains omega 3 but not all fish have it. Here in India two types of fish mackerels and sardines contain this oil. They are quite cheap and not so exotic. Most do not eat this fish regularly, but would rather go for the exotic kind.
Even mackerels and sardines are not always available. But there is a solution. 7 Seas cod liver capsules which are freely available could be had regularly. Doctors recommend 2 capsules twice a day. These capsules have other benefits too.
There are other brands too.

I have high cholesterol so I have medication.
I was taking niacin but natural foods and supplements do help
There are high cholesterol levels after I started the Keto diet. I eat mackerel twice a week, and also in the morning I take flax yogurt and the kernels of three raw nuts.
Mackerels are effective but we do not get them always Also I get fed up eating them. Nuts I know are good but they have high calories in them.
I think I would buy that capsule
If you have a high Cholesterol issue this will help
