I want to make it clear, this is an educated guess. To help make it clear, this is not a fact and shouldn’t be treated as one.
” guess based on knowledge and experience and therefore likely to be correct.” a prognosis can necessarily be only an educated guess” synonyms: rough calculation · approximation · estimation · educated/informed guess · rough guess · impression · approximate price/cost/value · estimated price/cost/value · costing · quotation · pricing · valuation · evaluation · assessment · appraisal · guesstimate”
The edit button created a huge amount of recycled posts. According to the numbers, I studied only 3.5% of posts were edited for corrections. The others were simply edited to recycle. It is my “educated guess”, if it comes back it will come back with the need for approval so it doesn’t simply remain and recycling tool. That would make sense. It would be a great deal of time for the admins, and there is probably a question if it is worth the time it would take.

i edited and modified a few posts and all of them were changed in reposting.
my goal was trying to figure out what would drive views, sadly it only drove views for that post.
I think, since we asked for the edit button, they will probably let us edit comments first, the abuse problem on the site caused them again to remove something.
That makes perfect sense to me. I guess we do what we can and attempt to do it right the first time.
that is all we can do right now.
Your disclaimer made me laugh, I did notice some repeat posts.
Thankfully unverified users can’t adopt these methods, even to get our regular posts approved it takes up to 2-3 days .
Sadly the disclaimer is necessary according to my legal staff. It keeps things on the up and up so far. No one has edit so perhaps it helps to level the playing field. I used to stack lots of posts in to be approved and hope they would string them out a bit.
