The night market here is persisting. It used to be that they only appear during the holiday season. But it is now a month past the new year but they are still here. One food vendor said that the sales continue to increase so they decided to continue selling. The variety of food is so wide that there are snack foods, the so called street foods and also food for a decent meal that comes with free and unlimited rice.
The night market is a novelty to give people temporary employment. But it looks like it is getting to be popular that there is a nigh market in every city. Shades of Taiwan where every block has a night market that sells all kinds of food. The night market is good for business but it is questionable if it is good for the health.
