One of the mistakes we made when we first got on to the Internet was to be too ‘boasty’.
For example; sitting at the table was a well known lawyer. Next to her is a top Computer Engineer. Across from him is someone who could phone the Prime Minister, pouring the coffee is the person who owns the hotel we are meeting.
When we would be on a site somewhere, and some user began expounding, very often, in those early days, we would respond. We would respond hard and fast and, well, boasty.
With the senior Engineer ‘one of us’, no one could tell us anything about any site, about any I.P.
And because ‘pride goeth before a fall’, certain mistakes we made in those days. We learned, by our mistakes, so did not make the same ones again.
We always must learn from mistakes.
Very often someone could make a comment, and you answer, as if you are communicating with another user, not a troll or admin.
