When I was younger, my sister would always sing “sorry seems to be the hardest word” by the late Sir Elton John. I always wondered why saying sorry seems to be that hard. I was brought up to say PLEASE, when I want something; THANK YOU when given things and SORRY when I did wrong. The circle of friends I grew up with, were apparently brought up the same way.
As I grew older, I noticed not everyone were taught their manners.
Nowadays, I noticed the younger generation would continue their way after bumping into you, as if nothing had happened. People would say hurtful things without thinking about other people’s feeling. I don’t know whether they meant to do the things they did or are they just uncouth.
Anyway, following my “hELLo” quiz, let’s learn a few words that means “I’m sorry”
I hope you could share some new words with us down below. The reason I didn’t include words from certain countries are due to their pronunciation that seems a bit hard. I would be glad if you could teach us how it is said.

I did not get a score. I like it. I do not know why people do not want to apologize. No ideal people, we all are wrong.
Sorry that you didn’t get the results. I am experiencing the same problem here. Been previewing my drafts but the results just don’t want to appear. Anyway thank you for taking the quiz and enjoying it.

I definitely use sorry a lot when travelling. Sometimes what is acceptable in one country is not accepted in another. It is one of the phrases I memorized. Also included is excuse me and where is the toilet?
