When the volcano erupted in January

The nearest volcano to our place is the smallest called Taal volcano. It is just 2 hours drive away that when it erupted in January 2020 the ashes reached our home. I have collected those ashes that I have more than half a bucket that I keep for a souvenir.

We regularly go to the volcano area for the cool climate there. Some resorts have facilities to stay overnight. There is also the Taal Vista Lodge which is a 5-star hotel where we can stay. How I miss those days when we would stay overnight and have a sumptuous breakfast in the hotel.
