When the pet is scared

Sometimes we see our dog getting scared when there is the sound of firecrackers or sometimes the roar of thunder. When that happens, one of our dogs would be shaking in fear so we need to give assurance by hugging it or better to carry on the lap.

That is the problem with having a dog during the rainy season. The thunder would be coming too often that there is a need for someone to look after the dogs. What we usually do is to herd the 3 dogs inside the bedroom and play loud music on the radio. The deafening music would at least deaden the sound of thunder.
