When the gate is hit by a vehicle

We live in a cul-de-sac road which is a dead end such that when a vehicle enters wrongly, it has to turn around to go out to the entrance. What they usually do is to maneuver a turnaround in front of our gate. Once our gate was hit by an SUV that it had to be repaired. Just before Christmas, it was hit again and another repair was in order.

Yesterday I heard a vehicle backing up on our gate. It was in a hurry. It was the same SUV that first ruined our gate. Something has to be done so the experience will not be repeated. The plastic pots would probably prevent those vehicles from turning around in front of our gate. At least we are safe now, thanks to the plastic pots.
