Niche tourism refers to travel concepts tailor-made for specific needs appealing to a small section of travelers. There are many astrotourists who travel to remote places with dark skies to have a better view of the night sky. For the astronomy lovers, moving far away from civilization is the key to be clear of light pollution issues that would hamper their observational goals. There is the jungle tourism that appeals to the nature lovers as well as the adventure seekers. The idea of staying closer to wildlife appeals to them whether or not they get a chance to spot a Cheetah. Rural tourism is a niche that appeals to some urbanfolk who likes to take a break from their city life and spend some time in country side breathing fresh air.
