What is the ‘NPC’ Non-Player Characters Meme?

Cartoons depicting scripted messages. I’ve not seen or heard about  NPC memes tweeted 30,000 times on a single day. Perhaps, there have been thousands more on the social media outlets. I’m not a computer game player. But I’ve read from the news about NPC only this week. And I thought, this would be an idea for constructive criticism and discussion.

I’d like to hear on both sides– from the angered SJWs, and from the creators of NPC memes. So, let’s put on our reasonable good judgment on the current issues swarming our political climate.

Quote:   “Actual NPCs are computer-controlled characters in video games with limited scripted responses given the parameters of the games in which they appear. For example, NPCs may assign quests to the player in games like Skyrim, or join the player as a companion in Fallout.”

Are these expressionless cartoons– no personality, robotic, tiresome repetitive chanting, aspersions, rote bitter feelings and hate — as if an artificial intelligence is guiding them,  effective?  Perhaps, funny and at the same time scary?

I’ve seen actual people behaving like  NPC cartoons. In the streets,  banging at  the doors of the Supreme Court chanting “Hey, hey, ho-ho! Kva has gutta go. Hey hey hoho!”  On the corridors and elevators of the  Capitol Hill,  signalling and shouting, “Shame on you!”. Here’s an old mantra one: “Orange Man Racist. Orange Bad Man.”

Virtue signalling, relative good, and other terms just immediately hit home in the NPC phenomenon. Will they go very far? Will they go away? Will there be more fun targets for NPC memes?

Like what a former candidate has said this week on her attack on civility: “You can’t be civil with a political party that wants to destroy what you stand for, what you care about.”  Hillary Clinton seems to put a stamp of approval on incivility and violence.  Similar to Dem Eric Holder’s: “When they go low, we kick them!”

Based on your good judgment to be able to decide for your logical and common-sense action, would you like to answer some questions? And have some  fun at the same time?

Go for it!
