What Do You Do All Day?

One of my grandsons has a need to know what we are doing at our house. He often asks on the phone and I answer him in email or snail mail because he really needs to work on his reading. Today when I got up I decided I needed a theme and I was going to invite you into my world for a day. 

I woke up and decided this was going to be my virily project today and it was really more for me than you, still I think there is some value in it for me so I am going for it. Before I get out of bed I always pick a motto or thought to start my day. I chose to Seize the Day. Why? Because today is not going to be an easy one. There is much to be done and a lot of it I simply don’t want to do! With some focus and the right attitude and support, I can make it happen.

Why the picture of toilet paper? It’s a reminder that when the others wake up and I am delivering breakfast they need to be reminded that they should never leave the bathroom with no toilet paper on the roll. It makes for a grumpy beginning that I had to overcome. (I know too much detail and still, this is what it would look like for my grandson, so I am going with it.

I made myself a cup of tea and came here to type. I really am going to spend the day with you while I do all my other things as well. Today I am working with someone who needs a lot of help. It is going to be a challenge. This person doesn’t really want to learn but wants to keep the job. I will do the best I can.

I am off to make breakfast, get eight hours of training prepared, go see if the pesky rock chucks are closer to tumbling the power pole and making sure all the rest of the bathrooms have toilet paper. (Mine is not a glorious day.)
